Story of Baglamukhi Mata 

Once there was a demon called Madanasura who started destruction on earth by initiating huge storms. Due to this gods approached Lord Vishnu for help. On witnessing this level of destruction, Lord Vishnu, started prayers on the river bank of Haridra Sarovar. 

Devi Tripurasundari got pleased by Lord Vishnu's prayer and emerged in the form of Baglamukhi Mata.  Maa Baglamukhi then stopped the storm and killed the demon by pulling out his tongue. As per religious ancient text, Baglamukhi mata is said to have yellow complexion, two arms and three eyes. The goddess wore yellow clothes and had a garland of yellow flowers. 

 That day was Chaturdashi on Tuesday. The sky was full of stars and a light appeared from the universe. Then Baglamukhi Devi stopped all the storms that were destructing the Earth. Further Maa Baglamukhi killed the asur called Madanasura by pulling out his tongue. Hence you will find many photos of Maa Baglamukhi in this victorious event.
